ISO 9000

a QUALITY standard drawn up by the INTERNATIONAL STANDARDIZATION ORGANIZATION. ISO 9000 is identical to the BRITISH STANDARDS INSTITUTION'S quality standard BS 5750. To obtain certification a supplier is required to establish, document and maintain an effective and economical quality system.
