ISO 14000

ISO 14000

Refers to a series of voluntary standards for implementation and auditing of environmental controls previously agreed upon by a community or required by statute. The term is internationally recognized. In the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refers to the standards as Voluntary Environmental Management Systems/ISO 14001.
