Intergovernmental Council of Copper Exporting Countries
Also called the ICCEC. A former international organization of countries representing more than half of the world's proven copper reserves. The ICCEC was formed in 1967 in an attempt to form a cartel that would control the price of copper. It failed in this endeavor, and was disbanded in 1988.
