IBES

Institutional Brokers' Estimate System
A service founded by the Lynch, Jones, and Ryan brokerage that compiles the forecasts of analysts at different brokerages on future earnings for many different publicly-traded companies. The IBES allows users to look at the high, low, and average predictions as well as see individual analysts' predictions. It is designed to assist in making investment decisions, especially to provide second opinions on one's own investment advisor's recommendations.
