GDA has worked closely with Xilinx and the HyperTransport Consortium during the definition and design stages of The HT8000.
The HT 8000 platform is an important new offering from GDA's HyperTransport program.
HyperTransport technology is a CPU-native interconnect standard that delivers efficient high throughput with minimum latency between multiple devices including chassis, motherboards and chips.
We also believe that the HyperTransport interconnect technology is the right choice for the next generation input/output bus standard.
It's been a year of significant progress for the Consortium, having advanced HyperTransport technology by extending the performance and capabilities of the HyperTransport Link and HTX Connector specifications," said Mario Cavalli, general manager of the HyperTransport Consortium.
HyperTransport interconnect technology is a popular high-speed, high-performance, point-to-point link for integrated circuits, developed to enable the chips inside high-performance communications, storage and networking devices to communicate with each other faster than with existing technologies.
Continued enhancement to the popular HTX specification reflects the Consortium's commitment to lead in the support of compute-intensive applications and system development," said Mario Cavalli, general manager of the HyperTransport Technology Consortium.
This is an impressive achievement for GDA and a significant move forward for the HyperTransport industry," said Gabriele Sartori, President of the HyperTransport Technology Consortium.
The HyperTransport interconnect continues to extend the industry-leading performance that compute-intensive system designs expect," said Mario Cavalli, general manager of the HyperTransport Technology Consortium.
