Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited The primary exchange in Hong Kong. It was established in 2000 with the merger of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Futures Exchange and the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company. It provides a floor for traders to buy and sell securities and derivatives. It also provides clearing services. It is one of the largest exchanges (by market capitalization) in the world.
