Hague System

Formally called the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs. An international agreement allowing one to register an industrial design as one's own intellectual property in all participating countries using a single application form and paying only one set of fees. This is especially important in international business because the agreement makes it easier to protect one's idea when marketing it in several countries at once. More than 50 countries belong to the Hague System.
