Group of Three 1. Germany, Japan and the United States, collectively referred to this way because of their large GDPs relative to the rest of the world. The Group of Three once comprised the largest industrialized nations in the world. 2. A free trade agreement between Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. The Group of Three reduced tariffs between the countries and pledged cooperation on investment, intellectual property and other matters. It came into effect in 1995. Although it remains in effect, Venezuela withdrew in 2006. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
