Group Rotation Manager

    0.01 sec.
Group rotation manager
A top-down manager who deduces the phases of the business cycle and allocates assets accordingly.

Group Rotation Manager
A money manager who allocates capital under management according to the economic cycle or business cycle. For example, a group rotation manager may invest in a large number of IPOs (high risk investments) during periods of economic expansion and then switch most of the capital over to U.S. Treasury securities (low risk investments) when the economy is near or in recession. A group rotation manager primarily considers macroeconomic conditions when allocating capital. That is, a group rotation manager uses top-down investment strategies.
