Greensheet
An informational booklet that an underwriting firm prepares to assist its employees in placing a new issue with investors. A greensheet contains information on a new issue; generally, it is a summary of the prospectus along with brief commentary on its advantages and disadvantages. The greensheet is designed to help sales staff when canvassing potential investors; it is not distributed to the investors themselves.
