Garden Apartment

Also found in: Dictionary/thesaurus, Legal, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia 0.03 sec.
Garden Apartment
An apartment complex with a large courtyard. Garden apartments usually have only one or two stories so the courtyard looks close to all tenants. These apartments may give the impression of being in the country, regardless of where one actually lives. Depending on how well kept garden apartments are, they may be more expensive than other rental units.
