Form 1098-E

A form published by the IRS that one uses to report tax deductible tuition paid to a qualified educational institution in a year. The form is reported to the IRS and sent to the party paying the tuition. Because tuition may be tax deductible, receiving Form 1098-E and reporting the tuition to the IRS may significantly impact one's tax liability.
