A list of securities offered by foreign corporations in violation of SEC registration requirements. The list exists to caution investors from taking a position on securities that might land one in legal trouble.

Foreign Restricted List

An SEC index of foreign companies whose securities are being offered for public sale in the United States in possible violation of registration requirements. Promoters sometimes illegally offer these securities directly to investors by mail, telephone, or personal solicitation.
