Forbes Global 2000
A list compiled and published annually by Forbes magazine of the 2000 largest publicly-traded companies in the world. The Forbes Global 2000 uses four criteria to arrive at its list: sales, profits, assets and market value. To be listed on the Forbes Global 2000 is considered very prestigious. The Forbes Global 2000 replaced the Forbes 500 in 2003.
