The announcement of the names of the principal organizations represented by participants after a transaction has taken place on the floor of a securities exchange. Thus, when a transaction has been completed, exchange members must inform one another which firms they are representing.

Floor Give-Up
The announcement of the investors represented by floor members in a transaction. When two floor members conduct a transaction on behalf of clients, they must tell each other whom they represent before the trade is settled.
