Financial leverage clientele A group of investors who have a preference for investing in firms that adhere to a particular financial leverage policy. Financial Leverage Clientele Investors, especially clients at a single brokerage, who prefer to invest predominantly or exclusively in companies with a given amount of leverage. That is, the financial leverage clientele prefers to invest in companies with a certain level of borrowing. Some financial leverage clientele may prefer companies with less borrowing, while others may prefer more. What unites them is the importance leverage has in determining their investment choices.
