Everything but Arms

Also found in: Wikipedia 0.01 sec.
Everything but Arms
An agreement between the European Union and the world's 49 least developed countries. Under the agreement, all exports except weapons from these countries may enter the EU without paying any tariffs or going through any other trade barriers. The Everything but Arms agreement came into effect in 2001, but a few commodities (bananas, sugar and rice) were still subject to tariffs until the mid- and late-2000s.

Our Everything But Arms initiative, which grants duty-free access to products from the world's 50 poorest countries, is proof of our commitment.
