Europe, Middle East and Africa
The branch of a multinational corporation that operates in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. EMEA companies have their own officers and operating structures independent of, say, the American or Japanese branches. For example, Multinational Corporation A has one board of directors and set of shareholders, but its EMEA branch has its own CEO, CFO, and so forth.
