Energy Mutual Fund

    0.01 sec.
Energy mutual fund
Mutual fund investing in energy stocks only, e.g., oil and gas companies.

Energy Mutual Fund
A mutual fund that invests predominantly or exclusively in energy stocks. As with other sector funds, energy mutual funds are exposed to systematic risk inherent to energy companies. For example, an energy mutual fund will likely perform less well if oil prices drop because many energy companies are largely dependent on profits from oil and related commodities.
