Swazi Lilangeni The currency of Swaziland. It was first issued in 1974 and pegged to the South African rand at a 1:1 ratio. Interestingly, the rand is also accepted in Swaziland alongside the lilangeni, and it is also issued by the Central Bank of Swaziland. The plural of lilangeni is emalengeni.
