Eat Your Own Dog Food
(redirected from Eating Your Own Dog Food)

    0.01 sec.
Eat Your Own Dog Food
Slang; to use one's company's own products. For example, an employee at Pepsi eats his own dog food when he refuses to buy or drink Coca Cola for any reason whatsoever and only drinks Pepsi products. Most of the time, however, the term refers to companies that use their own products in their operations. For instance, an internet service provider may use its own network to connect its own computers to the internet. This term became popular in the 1990s.
