Ease of Movement

Also found in: Legal, Wikipedia 0.01 sec.
Ease of Movement
In technical analysis, a measure of the price of a security relative to its volume. A positive number indicates an upward movement in price, while a negative number indicates the opposite. However, a high number, whether positive or negative, indicates low volume. Thus, a high positive number shows price accumulation on low volume, while a low positive number indicates the same on high volume. Ease of movement is designed to show how much volume is needed to move the price of a security.
