Early Harvest

    0.01 sec.
Early Harvest
A situation in which the weather causes the harvest of a crop to come earlier than it usually does. An early harvest can result in a drop in the price for that crop because the excess supply was unanticipated. Various derivatives for agricultural products (and even for the weather) exist to hedge against the risk of early harvest and other acts of God.
