EUREX
The European derivatives exchange formed in 1998 by a merger of the Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB) and the Swiss Options and Financial Futures Exchange (SOFFEX).

EUREX
An exchange for options, futures, and other derivatives, formed in 1998 by the merger of Deutsche Terminborse and SOFFEX. Trading on Eurex takes place electronically. It is, along with NYSE Euronext and the Merc, one of the three most prominent derivatives exchanges in the world.
