E Fifth letter of a Nasdaq stock symbol specifying that an issue has not met the reporting date for the company's SEC regulatory filing requirements. E A symbol appearing next to a stock listed on NASDAQ indicating that the share being traded represents a company that has not filed a necessary report with the SEC by the deadline. All NASDAQ listings use a four letter abbreviation; if an E follows the abbreviation, this indicates that the share comes from a company that did not file on time.
