Electrical Exemption Clause

A clause in some insurance policies stating that damages caused to electrical appliances by an improper or artificial electrical current are only covered if the current causes a fire. Even then, the clause states that the policy will only provide coverage for fire damages and not for repairs to the electrical appliances or anything else. An electrical exemption clause is also called a dynamo clause.
