Douglas T. Breeden
An American economist. Breeden developed a version the capital asset pricing model by arguing that the appropriate price for an asset relative to its risk depends on overall consumption in the economy, and not simply its risk relative to the risk of the market as a whole. Breeden called this concept the consumption beta.
