Double Bottom Base

In technical analysis, a sharp fall in the price of security, followed by a sharp rise, followed by another sharp fall, followed by another sharp rise. While the fall in price indeed can be deep, it may be a bullish sign as the price tends to rise significantly after the second drop. Some analysts recommend buying when the price during the second rise matches the peak during the first rise. See also: W-shaped recovery.
