Djiboutian Franc
The currency of Djibouti. It was introduced in 1908 when Djibouti was a French colony, and pegged to the French franc. It became an independent currency in 1949 and was pegged to the U.S. dollar under the Bretton Woods System. Even after the Bretton Woods System collapsed, the franc has maintained the peg to the dollar.
