Fixed-rate loans offered by the Ex-Im Bank directly to the foreign buyer to purchase US capital equipment and services.

Direct Loan Program
A division of the ExIm Bank that makes loans to foreign companies with the requirement that they use the proceeds to buy American exports. Direct loans are made for the foreign company's capital outlays; they carry a fixed interest rate. See also: Federal Direct Student Loan Program.
