Department of Labor survey has found that the overall veterans' unemployment rate is lower than that of nonveterans. As such, the Public Policy Division launched into action and began a seven-month campaign to work with the Department of Labor in an effort to achieve a re-interpretation of the law that would equate to a policy victory for NRPA members. AVC will conduct its work under the umbrella of the California Space Authority, which was selected as the lead agency on the federal Department of Labor Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) grant. |
