Denomination
Corresponds to the face value of currency units, coins, and securities. An international transaction may be denominated in US dollars, for example, or in British pounds.

denomination
The face value of a security. For bonds, it is usually $1,000 ($5,000 for municipals) or multiples thereof, and for stock it is the par value.

As one respondent noted, "students are much less denominationally loyal than a generation ago.
Then in the late 1830s, the Nova Scotia government became willing to support higher education denominationally.
It seems important to me that those whose convictions have been denominationally shaped should not wear their religion on their sleeves while on the job in a public school district.
