Advance Start
A subscription, especially to a periodical, that begins with an issue after the one currently being sold. For example, if one buys a 12-month subscription to a newspaper beginning 1 April and it is currently 15 March, then one has purchased an advance start subscription. It is also called a preferred start or a delayed start.

This season's Under-14s have a delayed start to their season with their first confirmed match coming against local rivals Stockton in the Durham County Cup on Thursday, October 21.
The researchers note that after the delayed start time, "students reported significantly more satisfaction with sleep and experienced improved motivation.
