David Packard

David Packard
An American businessman who co-founded Hewlett-Packard. He established the company in his garage with William Hewlett in 1939. Packard handled the management while Hewlett was responsible for the technical innovations. Packard served as president, CEO and chairman of the board for most of HP's history prior to 1993. He also served in the Nixon administration. Packard lived from 1912 to 1996.
