CRC

The ISO 4217 currency code for Costa Rican Colon.

CRC

ISO 4217 code for the Costa Rican colon. It began circulating in 1896, replacing the Costa Rican peso. It was on a crawling peg with respect to the U.S. dollar until 2006. In October of that year, it was allowed to float within a range with a set floor and a changing ceiling. In many places in Costa Rica, the dollar circulates alongside the colon.

Ultra320 SCSI devices will support data transfer rates of up to 320 Megabytes/second and packetization, along with double edge clocking, cyclical redundancy checking (CRC), and domain validation (see glossary following release for definitions).
Cyclical redundancy checking ensures higher integrity of transferred data and increases overall reliability, while domain validation ensures correct configuration of all devices on the bus, and allows the highest possible data transfer rate.
Ultra 160/m SCSI specifies use of three of the core features of Ultra3 SCSI: double transition clocking, cyclical redundancy checking and domain validation.
