Custodia
A Spanish term for custody. It is used in finance to refer to safekeeping. An equivalent Spanish term is custodia de valores.

De Puysegur was imprisoned in a Bastille prison during the French revolution, and it was probably during that period that he met Jose Custodio de Faria, better known as Abbe Faria, for the first time.
