Core Plus A fixed-income style that permits managers to add instruments with greater risk and greater potential return, such as high yield, global, and emerging market debt, to their core portfolios of investment-grade bonds. Notes: The percentage of a portfolio in other sectors is variable, but is usually less than 25%. As you can imagine, with this broad definition there are a number of different strategies that can be considered core-plus. |
