Rules set by the Chicago Board of Trade for determining the invoice price of each acceptable deliverable Treasury issue against the Treasury Bond futures contract.

conversion factors
The rates used to adjust differences in bond values for delivery on a U.S. Treasury bond futures contract. Because the contract calls for the equivalent of an 8% coupon, 20-year maturity bond, it is necessary to convert other securities that are acceptable for delivery.
