Consolidated Income Statement

Consolidated Income Statement
An income statement that combines the revenue, expenses, and income of a parent company and its subsidiaries. A consolidated income statement presents an aggregated picture of the whole corporation rather than its individual parts. Any money owed between the companies included in the statement is not considered.

consolidated income statement
An income statement that combines the income statements of two or more organizations. As with other consolidated statements, a consolidated income statement eliminates any funds owed to or due from firms within the same group.

The charge, which will be reflected on a separate line item above operating income entitled "Restructuring Cost and Reorganization Benefit" on the company's consolidated income statement, is expected to have a negative impact of approximately 110 basis points on its operating margin for the full 2009 fiscal year.
The condensed consolidated income statement and balance sheet in the Company's Form 10-Q filed on May 11, 2009 incorporate these adjustments.
