Also known as the range. The high and low prices, or bids and offers, recorded during the period designated as the official close. Related: Settlement price.

Closing Range
The highest bid and the lowest offer made on an exchange during the period immediately preceding the close. The closing range is closely related to the closing price.

closing range
In futures trading, the range of prices at which transactions occur during the close of the market.
