An international clearing and settlement organization formed in 2000 through a merger of Cedel International and Deutsche Borse Clearing.

Clearstream International
A clearing house that is one of the largest security depository and post-trade financial services companies in the world. Formed in 2000 as the result of a merger between Cedel International and Deutsche B???? Clearing, Clearstream serves as the principle clearing house for transactions in the Euromarket. Now fully owned by Deutsche B????, it provides clearing services for companies in more than 80 countries. Its main competitors are Euroclear and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.
