Chartered Insurance Professional

A professionally licensed insurance agent in property and casualty. In Canada, the CIP certification requires passage of 10 exams given by the Insurance Institute of Canada. The CIP is designed to set and promote professional standards among insurance agents in Canada. Chartered insurance professionals are required to pay an annual fee in order to retain their certifications.
