A professional designation for financial managers awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants. These professionals specialize in the study of how managers use accounting and/or financial information in current or future business decisions. Holders of the CFM designation must pass a four-part exam and follow established common practices and ethical standards set by the Institute. See also: Certified Management Accountant.

A professional designation awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants to members who demonstrate knowledge of financial management principles by passing a series of examinations. Members must meet a work experience requirement and provide evidence of continuing education.
