Consolidation Service
A service in which a company combines several different shipments on a single vessel or airplane in order to extract bulk rates and other favorable treatment from the transportation service. A consolidation service is also called an assembly service, cargo consolidation, and freight consolidation.

Export cargo consolidation for onward transportation to seaports would be enhanced, and activities such as clearing of goods, payment of customs levies and other duties will be performed at the ICD site, thus generating employment and stimulating new businesses and industries within its borders and environs.
