Business Valuation
The process of determining how much a business is worth. Business valuation is highly subjective because it involves estimating the value of intangible assets like trade secrets and brand recognition. It also involves valuation of tangible assets like machinery and stockholder equity. A business valuation may be performed for a potential investor or buyer.
