Bulk Carrier
A ship designed to transport bulk cargo, which is a large amount of a commodity on a ship stored without a container, or in only a small container like a barrel or a small box. Bulk carriers sometimes have only one deck to maximize room for transportation. Many, though not all, are very large. Almost half of the world's merchant fleets are bulk carriers.
