A piece of cardboard or heavy paper with an advertisement printed on it. It is cut in such a way so as to hang from the neck of a bottle. Bottle hangers are used in marketing in grocery stores, especially to announce a lower price or a free product with the purchase of a bottle of soda or other drink.
