| Dow Blueboard brand 2"-thick insulation boards are buried beneath the inside 4' of the perimeter of the floor, in an "L" configuration, extending 4' under the concrete and 4' downward from the edge of the floor. Skimcoat plaster on Blueboard, the current wall-finishing material, is harder and may be more washable. Plaster, especially a skim coat, is very sensitive to movement, more so than the blueboard under it. |
