A textual advertisement that contains a request for reader response toward the end or in an otherwise inconspicuous place. The advertiser or advertising agency measures the number or responses a blind offer receives and uses this information to gauge how closely most viewers read the advertisement. A blind offer is also called a hidden offer or a buried offer.
