Bayesian Approach to Decision Making

A way to make decisions based on incomplete or imperfect information. When information is not available, the Bayesian approach makes mathematical assumptions about its likely content. As that information is gathered and disseminated, the Bayesian approach corrects or replaces the assumptions and alters its decision-making accordingly.
